This piece is inspired by the iconic artist Patrick Nagel -- I used my broken technique on his popular 1980s graphic stylization of women as an homage to the poster art of his, I had hanging in my apartment during most of my 20s.
I painted the canvas in his semi-jewel tone muted colors but was able to achieve this vibrant representation of the artwork as I incorporated the icons into the piece.
